We invite you to reflect not only on these individual women and their stories, but how women as a whole are affected by caricatures and stereotypes.
As our society becomes more technologically advanced, accessing images, news, and information at the speed of light we are also becoming desensitized to violence against women; and I can’t help but see the correlation between this fact and our portrayal. Where do these images come from? Who benefits from their perpetuation?
Let’s begin to canceling these images and writing our own narrative!
